Cats for Seniors Program
How many seniors do you know who would love to have a pet but are afraid they won't be able to take care of it? As I found out, a local woman has developed a program that allows seniors to have a furry friend without the worry.

For the Record: Funding Shortages for SEED Program
I talked to Executive Director Nancy Keough of the Kettle Friendship Society. The organization runs SEED, a program that provides jobs for over 70 employees suffering from mental illness. The program is running out of funding and may have to shut down. (15:00)

I talked to Allan DeGenova, a Vancouver realtor and board member of Honour House, a home in New Westminster that is being renovated to become temporary housing for wounded soldiers, police, firefighters, and paramedics, and is set to open by Remembrance Day. (10:32)
